I have an ART SGX-2000 with a software upgrade chip that is a hell of a lot of fun, it even has parameters for vocals. I'll bet they'll make a comeback at some point, but the gear will have mutated into something we haven't seen yet, maybe a zillion watt amp the size of a cigarette pack, and a speaker so efficient that it's the size of a cigar box, including the cabinet, but it will still cause every club owner on the face of the earth to scream "turn it down, moron! They can't buy drinks if they're pinned against the back wall!!!" Who knows? Better living through chemistry, I always say.
